Community Needs Assessment Tool

The Community Needs Assessment Tool or CCNA Tool assists Community Action Agencies in the development of Community Needs Assessments. The tool collects information from a variety of state and federal sources, and compiles that data into a single downloadable and editable report. The tool can provide information for any Community Action Agency service area or Missouri county, or any combination of service areas and/or counties.

This tool was developed at the University of Missouri in cooperation with Missouri CAN, and funded by the Community Services Block Grant, through the Missouri Department of Social Services, Family Support Division. The Center for Applied Research and Environmental Systems (CARES) at the University of Missouri and the Institute for People, Place and Possibility (IP3) have cooperated to develop this tool.
