Missouri CAN 2022 Annual Conference

About

Date: May 3-5, 2022

Location: Chateau on the Lake | 415 State Highway 265 | Branson MO 65616

As the statewide Community Action Network, we have much to celebrate. In the three years since we’ve last gathered in-person, we have seen historic changes within our nation and state, from a global pandemic that completely upended our lives, to the ensuing economic fallout that pushed millions into poverty.

Yet you persevered. You served your communities. In people’s darkest hours, they turned to you for help. And you were there.

Let’s celebrate that. Let’s celebrate all you’ve accomplished and the lives you’ve changed. Let’s also take some time to recognize we have been a network unified under Missouri CAN for 50 years.

For half a century, we have been a unified community that advocates for people in poverty and takes action while others would stand-by. We are the change we want to see in the world. That is worth celebrating, as well.

We’re excited to see you in Branson. We have a dynamic schedule of content to offer this year’s attendees, from tools for personal money management, to utilizing Community Action’s organizational standards.

COVID Policy

The health and safety of our guests continues to be of the utmost importance. The Missouri CAN Board of Directors approved the following COVID policy in accordance with current CDC recommendations:

All attendees (including staff, workshop presenters, and exhibitors) will be required to submit one of the following upon arrival at Chateau on the Lake: proof of vaccination OR verification of a negative COVID test taken at least 72 hours prior to arrival. Failure to provide either proof will result in denial of entry to the event.

NOTE: Evidence of a self-administered home test will be accepted; however, as these self-tests contain no identifying information, anyone submitting one will be required to sign documentation attesting to the validity of the result.

MCAN staff will screen all attendees for the relevant document at the time of their onsite registration. Proof may be physical documentation or electronic copies which must be accessed by the attendee and shown to staff. We will retain no records associated with any form of verification.

Additionally, all participants will follow current CDC recommendations related to masking while onsite for the duration of the event.
