Training Manager

The Training Manager for MCAN is responsible for coordinating training and an annual conference for members of the Community Action Community. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Training Manager coordinates grants for training-related activities and personally trains and provides technical assistance on poverty prevention topics. Knowledge of best practices in training and poverty prevention is required. The position is full time onsite in Jefferson City, MO in a fast-paced environment. Excellent compensation and benefits.

Community Action Poverty Simulation (CAPS) Program Coordinator

The CAPS Program Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating all aspects of Missouri CAN’s Poverty Simulation programming, which is an interactive immersion experience designed to raise awareness of poverty. Through the Community Action Poverty Simulation, the CAPS Program Coordinator is expected to support kit licensees, develop training content, and promote strategy solutions for customers seeking to raise awareness about poverty. This position works closely with the CAPS Business Development Coordinator to complete deliverables for contracted services, increase customer success in implementing CAPS, and provide additional coaching and training support at Missouri CAN. This position reports directly to the Executive Director and the position is full time onsite in Jefferson City, MO in a fast-paced environment. Excellent compensation and benefits.

Executive Assistant

Missouri CAN’s Executive Assistant helps facilitate all activities of the Executive Director and the Missouri CAN team. We are looking for someone who can support and and coordinate administrative activities for the association including membership support, event support, accounts payable/billing assistance, and general business affairs. You’ll get to help tackle day to day issues, support project management for the Executive Director, and play a critical role in keeping the team on track. The Executive Assistant should share Missouri CAN’s vision of making Missouri a place where all people and communities thrive. This position reports directly to the Executive Director and the position is full time onsite in Jefferson City, MO in a fast-paced environment. Excellent compensation and benefits.

Community Action Poverty Simulation (CAPS) Business Development Coordinator

The CAPS Business Development Coordinator (BDC) is a part time position responsible for developing business relationships and sales of Missouri CAN’s Poverty Simulation kit, which is an interactive immersion experience designed to raise awareness of poverty. Through the Community Action Poverty Simulation, the CAPS BDC is expected to promote awareness and sales of the Community Action Poverty Simulation. By extension, this role increase understanding of poverty and inspire community members to create local change to help address poverty. This position cultivates prospects, leads and supports all steps of the sales process for CAPS kits and associated training products. This is a sales position. This position reports directly to the Executive Director and is in a fast-paced environment. Excellent compensation and benefits, including sales commissions.
